Stephanie Brunner (Austria), winner in the giant slalom in Borovets
The slope was very well prepared and in perfect condition. I made two very good rides and I want to say that even with a bigger starting number you can give the best of yourself. This is my fourth victory for the EU Cup for the season and I am already focused towards the first place in the final ranking in the discipline. But tomorrow there is another giant slalom and I want to be 100% sure even theoretically that no one can reach me in this discipline for the season. I expect a very tough competition tomorrow. For next season I have set my goals to compete mainly for the World Cup. This winter I ranked fifth in Flachau giant slalom now I shall test myself with the best in Yasna. My goal for next season is to be in the top 30 and ski always to my best.
Simone Wild (Switzerland), second
I agree with what Stephanie said: The trail was perfect. I am happy for my second place today. I feel good in Borovets, it's really nice here, I think the resort is an excellent winter center. I expect it to be hard tomorrow, the slope is well prepared and this will give us a good start.
Ricarda Haaser, third
